PING is a basic tool which enables you to check if a specific computer/host is responding over WAN/LAN.
It actually send an (ICMP - Internet Control Message Protocol) "echo request" to the desired computer and
waits for an "echo reply". The ping command is run a few times in a row, after which ping statistics are
displayed showing how many ICMP packets were sent, how many were received, how many were lost and
how much time did it take (generally in milliseconds) for the packets to do the whole "roundup trip"
Question: I can just ping from my computer, Why do i need an online ping service? Answer: Sometimes you need to check ping from a different location, from another country or
just outside your LAN, In these cases an online ping service becomes handy.
